Journey with braces and a palatal expander part 4

Well, guess what? I GOT MY EXPANDER ON MONDAY! ;D I was SO glad. But I didn't get my braces yet. So my next appointment is on 24 May. And THAT'S the date I get my braces. But there IS a disadvantage of wearing an expander. First, you'll find it hard to talk. You can't say the letters S,T,K,G, J and CH. Really hard. Second, you'll be experiencing extra saliva, so you'll tend to drool and make sucking noises. When I did that, my friends thought that I had a  flu, LOL! Third, when you eat, you'll tend to get food stuck at on your expander, so make sure you rinse your mouth after you've had your meal. My expander is called a RPE, rapid palatal expander. There are many types of expanders. Gotta go! Bye! ♥
